SIFE teams in the United States that win at the regional level of competition earn the opportunity to compete at the SIFE USA National Exposition. Through a written annual report and live audio-visual presentation, teams report the results of their community outreach projects to panels of business leaders serving as judges and are evaluated based on how successful they were at creating economic opportunity for others.
The competition is organized around separate 2 and 4-year divisions, with teams in each division divided among a series of individual opening round leagues. From the opening round, eight 2-year division teams will advance to a final round and twenty 4-year division teams will move forward to the semi-final round, with four of them winning a spot in the final round of competition. Ultimately, one team in each division will be named the SIFE USA National Champions. The 4-year division national champion will represent the United States at the SIFE World Cup where they will compete against the National Champion teams from more than 40 other countries.
The SIFE USA National Exposition brings together the top student, academic and business leaders from around the country. Beyond the experience of the competition, the event is complete with additional opportunities for these leaders to connect. SIFE donor companies have the opportunity to recruit future talent through the career fair. Special events, such as the SIFE Executive Reception and Dinner and Top to Future-Top Forum provide unique opportunities for networking, mentorship and idea exchange.
