INDIVIDUAL TOPIC COMPETITIONS

 

In addition to being evaluated on the quality of their overall program, SIFE teams have the opportunity for recognition in each of the five specific educational topics and sustainability.

Active SIFE teams will have the opportunity to submit an online report describing the educational project(s) they created to meet each of the five SIFE educational topics and sustainability.

These entries will be judged prior to the SIFE USA Regional Competitions. Twenty finalists will be named and the top three entries in each Individual Topic Competition will receive further awards and recognition at the SIFE USA National Exposition.

SIFE USA Clorox Market Economics Competition
Criteria: How effectively did the SIFE team measure and demonstrate that it created economic opportunity by helping others learn how to succeed as an entrepreneur and/or improve an existing business?

SIFE USA Discover Financial Services Success Skills Competition
Criteria: How effectively did the SIFE team measure and demonstrate that it created economic opportunity by helping others acquire the education and skills training needed to succeed in a dynamic, competitive global economy?

SIFE USA SAM’S CLUB Entrepreneurship Competition
How effectively did the SIFE team measure and demonstrate that it helped others succeed as an entrepreneur and/or improve the sustainability of an existing small business?

SIFE USA HSBC Financial Literacy Competition
Criteria: How effectively did the SIFE team measure and demonstrate that it created economic opportunity by helping others develop the personal financial management skills necessary to achieve financial independence?

SIFE USA Campbell’s and Sealed Air Business Ethics Competition
Criteria: How effectively did the SIFE team measure and demonstrate that it created economic opportunity by helping others understand that the long-term success and prosperity of a market economy, businesses and individuals are dependent on ethical business practices?

SIFE USA GE Program Sustainability Competition
Criteria: How successfully did the team develop and execute a strategy to ensure the long-term sustainability of their team and educational programs?
