Pre and post assessment revealed that 90% of the delegates became fully aware of the Stock Market dynamics and principles. They showed great interest in following the Stock Market news.

The main objective of the ASU Financial Literacy Project was to enhance financial literacy of 74 non-business students through both direct learning and creating a new learning experience. Basic financial concepts were introduced to computer science students through different sessions. They developed financial planning software using the knowledge they acquired. The software was uploaded on a website to make it widely available. Sessions were also conducted to non-business students who were given the software as a new means of application. The program will be updated using the feedback from the website users. And the team is planning to increase the number of participating students next year.
National Third Place
The American University in Cairo, Egypt
To create economic opportunities for 107 brilliant Egyptian minds, the AUC SIFE Team created partnership with the Egyptian Patent Office (EPO) – Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, allowing SIFE to provide their members with implementable, and profitable ideas. Through fun activities, teaching activities and financial board game the AUC SIFE Team taught the participants budgeting and finance skills to allow them to gain a better understanding of their projects, how to market it and establish sponsorship or partnership.
