We regret to announce the HSBC Financial Literacy Programme will officially come to an end on December 31, 2010.

SIFE and HSBC have shared a very successful relationship for nearly 6 years.  This partnership in Financial Literacy education has empowered more than 800 SIFE teams, and 29,000 team members from around the world to impact more than 1,000,000 people.  In addition, more than 500 HSBC executives have engaged as judges, Business Advisory Board members and Country Board members.

The conclusion of this program will not have an effect on the remainder of this program year.  All 2010 calendar obligations will be satisfied including second disbursements of grant funds to eligible SIFE teams which will take place as scheduled in August and September.
