Asheem joined the SIFE staff in 2004 as Country Coordinator for India, and also works for SIFE sponsor company Syntel in Mumbai. He has successfully used his marketing and public relations skills on the job at several major Indian corporations. Blending his commercial background with a passion for entrepreneurship, Asheem's efforts are quickly increasing the number of SIFE schools in India.

Norela Nuruddin
BII Malaysia Coordinator

Norela helped bring SIFE to the shores of Malaysia in 2000, with the collaboration of Dr. Robin Anderson, while she was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Nebraska. In addition to being the Country Coordinator of Malaysia, she is also a full-time Associate Professor at the Universiti Teknologi Mara. She teaches in the areas of Management and Finance. Norela holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelors degree in Finance.

Sylvester John
BII Director (SIFE World Headquarters, USA)

Sylvester is the Regional Vice President & Managing Director for Africa at Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and brings to the organization a significant amount of experience in dealing with Africa. Sylvester's directive as the head of SIFE Africa is to build self-sustaining SIFE organizations in over 11 countries. He is responsible for recruiting, training and supervising SIFE Country Presidents, leading and coordinating resource development efforts in Africa and beyond, and engaging academic faculty advisors in building SIFE on their university campuses. Sylvester is also responsible for implementing SIFE's Business Internship Initiative, a U.S.-government funded grant program which provides extended international travel exchange opportunities for SIFE students in various countries.
