Springfield, Mo., USA – SIFE is pleased to announce its signature event, SIFE World Cup, will be hosted 30 September - 2 October 2012 in Washington, D.C., USA.
Once a year, National Champion SIFE teams from around the world meet at SIFE World Cup to present the results of their community outreach projects to a prestigious group of international business leaders. These executives evaluate the teams on how successful they were at using business concepts to improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. In addition to the competition, SIFE World Cup is a premier cross-generational leadership experience that provides opportunities for mentorship, best-practice sharing and networking through activities such as a special session, cultural fair and roundtable forums.
SIFE World Cup 2012 is expected to be the largest in the event’s 11-year history with more than 3,000 SIFE students, academic members and business leaders anticipated to attend and approximately 20,000 participating online. Also raising the profile of the event is the announcement of KPMG as the presenting sponsor and a partnership with the U.S. Department of State.
