Cairo, Egypt – A successful re-launch event for SIFE Egypt was recently held in Cairo, highlighting the country’s operations and future goals, and helping to build momentum for the program among some the area’s most influential business leaders and in the media.

Co-organized with the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, the event showcased The French University in Egypt SIFE team, 2009 World Cup Champions. It also provided a platform to announce a new endowment fund campaign and strategic plan under the leadership of Alex Shalaby, recently appointed chairman of the SIFE international advisory council of board chairpersons.

More than 250 people attended this high-profile gathering, including Joel Conner, chairman of the SIFE board of directors; Jack Shewmaker, former chairman; and Sylvester John, vice president of SIFE International.
