Harare, Zimbabwe–The Chinhoyi University of Technology SIFE team was named SIFE Zimbabwe National Champion and will advance to represent Zimbabwe at the SIFE World Cup in Los Angeles, California this October. Seven teams participated in the Zimbabwe National Competition 2 July, and more than 300 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.

Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country. Each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
