World Cup
Every country that operates a SIFE national organization is eligible to send a national champion team to the SIFE World Cup, where they will present the results of their community outreach projects to panels of business leaders serving as judges. Teams are evaluated on the quality of their projects and how much impact they achieved creating economic opportunity for others.
Competing teams are divided among eight opening round leagues, each with approximately six teams. From the opening round of competition, two teams from each league advance to the semi-final round with four teams winning a spot in the final round of competition. Eventually one team will be declared the best among the more than 1,500 active SIFE teams and earn the title of SIFE World Cup Champion.
The SIFE World Cup is a showcase of the impact that SIFE teams are achieving around the world and brings together an international network of student, academic and business leaders. In addition to the competition, events such as the culture fair provide an exhibit of the rich diversity of cultures represented within SIFE. Multiple receptions, lunches and dinners, along with special events such as the Top to Top Forum and Top to Future-Top Forums further enhance the opportunities for networking, mentorship and idea exchange.
