Capital Markets Day (award description)
SIFE World Headquarters is excited to announce that the Capital Markets Summit, originally planned for New York City, will be held in conjunction with the 2009 SIFE World Cup in Berlin, Germany (October 4-6). This will ensure that, in addition to the Summit activities, students will have a robust international experience.
To culminate the 2008-2009 Capital Markets Program, a reception will be held the evening before the opening ceremony for World Cup where the five SIFE teams from each country will share their project experience, network, and brainstorm for future projects. Following the reception, the remaining days will consist of touring Berlin and attending the SIFE World Cup festivities, which includes a culture fair.
Based on your submitted project reports and supporting documents the following will be awarded:
From each country, five teams will be selected as contest winners and those selected teams will send two students and one faculty advisor* each to act as representatives. A total of thirty students and fifteen faculty will be attending the Capital Markets Summit and 2009 SIFE World Cup.
This award will include (SIFE approved) travel, lodging, in-city transportation, entertainment and meals for the SIFE team representatives. In place of the final competition, all fifteen winning teams will receive $1,000 prize money.

Winning SIFE teams will be notified no later than June 5th to allow for time to secure passports and/or visas.
