University of Shkodra Wins SIFE Albania National Competition

Tirana, Albania — The University "Luigj Gurakuqi" of Shkodra SIFE team was named SIFE Albania National Champion and will advance to represent Albania at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Nine SIFE teams participated in the Albanian National Competition April 18-19, and over 300 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
