University of Shanghai for Science & Technology Wins SIFE China National Competition

Shanghai, China — The University of Shanghai for Science and Technology SIFE team was named SIFE China National Champion and will advance to represent China at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Thirty-two teams participated in China's National Competition 16-17 May, and over 1,000 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
