University of Nottingham Wins SIFE U.K. National Competition

London, England, United Kingdom — The University of Nottingham SIFE team was named SIFE United Kingdom National Champion and will advance to represent the U.K. at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Twenty-one SIFE teams participated in the United Kingdom National Competition April 17-18, and over 400 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
