The University of Western Australia Wins SIFE Australia National Competition

— The
University of Western Australia SIFE team was named SIFE Australia National Champion and will advance to represent Australia at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Twenty teams participated in the Australia National Competition 10-12 July, and more than 350 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
