San Beda College Wins SIFE Philippines National Competition

Manila, Philippines — The San Beda College SIFE team was named SIFE Philippines National Champion and will advance to represent the Philippines at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Eighteen teams participated in the Philippines National Competition 2 August, and more than 250 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
