Osaka University of Arts Wins SIFE Japan National Competition

— The
Osaka University of Arts SIFE team was named SIFE Japan National Champion and will advance to represent Japan at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Twelve teams participated in the Japan National Competition 27 June, and more than 250 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
