Auckland University of Technology Wins SIFE New Zealand National Competition

Auckland, New Zealand — The Auckland University of Technology SIFE team was named SIFE New Zealand National Champion and will advance to represent New Zealand at the SIFE World Cup in Singapore this October. Three teams participated in the New Zealand National Competition 19 July, and more than 200 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.
Every country that operates a SIFE program is eligible to conduct a national competition for the teams in that country where each SIFE team presents the results of their outreach projects to determine which teams made the most impact on their communities. The national champions then face each other at the SIFE World Cup. Forty-two SIFE teams are expected to participate in this year's international competition.
